In issue 12/01 of the german computer magazine ONLINE-TODAY a benchmark test of the five leading software programs for model railroad computer control was performed. Version 4 of TrainController™, which was the current version at that time, won the highest award!

We are certainly aware, that this test is a few years back. This does not mean, however, that it is obsolete. As far as the assessment of individual criteria and comparison of programs with each other are concerned, this test has not lost its relevance.

The test covers the program versions, that were current at the time of the test. The score and the comments are cited to the best of our knowledge. They reflect the point of view of the magazine's editor.
