Rocomotion is easy to use PC software for model railroad computer control with the Roco digital system.

Rocomotion is created by cooperation of Roco Modelleisenbahn GmbH, Austria, which is one of the World's biggest manufacturers of model railroad supplies, and Freiwald Software. Rocomotion is not only software, but actually a unique and complete set of hardware and software for model railroad computer control. This set is distributed by Roco (part numbers 10785 and 10832 as well as certain train sets) and by Fleischmann (part number 686702 as well as certain train sets) and can be purchased from any dealer, that carries Roco or Fleischmann products.

The Rocomotion software is being developed by Freiwald Software as a derivative version of TrainController™, the professional software for model railroad computer control. It is based on long term practical experiences gained with TrainController™. The software is optimized for ease of use and very well suited especially for users of small and medium size layouts. Rocomotion is also optimized for use with the Roco digital system, but does not support the systems of other manufacturers. Rocomotion provides entry to model railroad computer control at a very good price. And users with growing layouts, specific needs or increasing demands are able to change to TrainController™ at any time. This can be done very easily. Layout data, that has been entered into Rocomotion, can be conveniently imported into TrainController™ without any loss of functionality or data. Thus the initial investment remains save even if requirements grow.

The set also includes a Roco specific decoder configuration, that can be loaded into the decoder database of TrainProgrammer™. This decoder configuration allows convenient programming of the most important configuration variables (CV) of your Roco locomotive decoders with the Roco digital system free of charge without the need to purchase a license of the full version of TrainProgrammer™.
